Superstitions and rituals are all good, but hart's seems like something he'd want to get a handle on soonish. Can't see too many coaches being impressed about you hanging out on the ice for no good reason

Be nice. I agree people overreact here but that’s what a fan board is for.
It is a bit crazy though how fans of a 21-14 team can be so angry and negative though.
Y’all bein’ myopic!
Maybe over-reacting but team isn't a Cup contender, and my fear is the front office mis-interprets them as such as again goes out and trades the future for some over-the-hill rental. Team isn't that far away - next year infusion of youth and getting rid of horrid contracts (Nash, Staal) to make cap space to bring in a #1 center plus return of Kreider and hopefully a new coach.

I am not enthusiastic about this year’s TDL because I really want the team to do the smart thing and, for once, say they are building for a better push next year. Just because we are going to get in does not mean we shouldn’t be selling on UFAs. If we can add a decent 1st or a solid prospect it’s so painfully obvious that we should but it also seems painfully obvious that we won’t. I like making the playoffs. I root for the team’s success every year no matter how scant the chances seem. It’s fun. Post season is exciting. We often do a bit better than I had expected as well. Won’t deny that. But it is not difficult to be realistic about this team and say “sure, we may make some noise and surprise a team or two but this is NOT a serious Cup contender”. Come on, it just isn’t. For once in this decade, let’s just be smart and say we’re gonna play hard and hope for the best while also making the prudent decisions that will set us up for an even better year next year. Please.

If he is willing to miss an entire intermission to be the last guy off, then he needs to see a sports psychiatrist.

And this from a guy who needed to touch the posts a certain way before every faceoff.

I could take or leave AV. I find it almost ridiculous to blame the coach when players have a problem with hockey fundamentals like passing.

I also love how bounces can be a coach’s fault.

The system is an issue, but basic hockey seems to a bigger issue than zone coverages.
It takes two to make a passing play. When the player receiving an attempted pass is two lines away almost all the time, it's a system issue.

It's the way they lose - getting severely outshot by teams that usually get outshot by better opponents.

And the way they win - Hank does everything.

Half our fans think the same thing, supposedly everyone who gets in has a chance. This GM has not shown he knows what he's doing.

Lets remember, this is the guy who two seasons ago when we weren't contenders decided not to trade Yandle for futures, and instead decided to trade futures for Eric Staal.

Not all the time.

They can’t complete a play to get out of the defensive zone, which forces them into the stretch pass attempts.

When they get forechecked hard, they can’t complete simple plays. I don’t believe that’s all systemic.

He also signed Grabner for a song. And I didn't say they'd do the right thing and build, only offered a blueprint.

How is it not when both wingers are in the neutral zone by the time we have a chance to exit the zone?
