It's the way they lose - getting severely outshot by teams that usually get outshot by better opponents.

And the way they win - Hank does everything.

So much parity these days is my opinion. These teams and players are so good and it’s often just a break or a bounce that makes the difference. Winning more than losing and getting to the playoffs. Anything can happen. There are no dominant teams. Anyhow just my two cents.

The Holik years almost seem fun compared to this.

I know everyone likes to say "well it isn't the dark ages," but keep in mind we had the worst goaltending in the league in between Richter and Lundvist. We've had the best during AV's tenure.

They have by far the best sv% relative to expected sv%. Not even close. So yeah, we have had the best goaltending in the NHL by far Embryo.

Goalie stats don't tell you a whole lot about the team in front of them, unfortunately. You could be the best goalie in the world playing in front of a shit team and your stats aren't indicative of your performance.

Best? Hard to say. But Henrik might be the most consistent goalie of all time (stats wise) and that's saying something.
