Rackell a decent player. But can't take a one timer . Always has to stop and tee it up. Too bad.

Hard to say definitively. I've heard MacFarland was instrumental, but we're heavily speculating on their internal processes and what Sakic's contributions were.

Yeah no, McFarland has been known as one of their best assets and they refused teams to even talk to him knowing he was going to take over for Sakic, Joe actually f***ed up the whole Duchene thing which ended up working out for him in the end, but McFarland does a lot of the grunt work, you don't seem all that up to snuff on what he's done but you should look it up. He was one of my picks as the Pens GM before we got Hextall.

As for Allvin, I think the flack Benning gets is a little much, that JT Miller deal before signing Horvat was one of the dumbest moves he could have made and he made it. They've got 14m in cap next year and need to re-sign Kuzmenko to a hefty new deal, easily in the 6m range. Re-signing Boeser as well, blaming it all on Benning at this stage isn't really all that fair.

OEL & Myers - Definitely on Benning. The rest is Allvin pissing away all the cap he could have had to add defensive help when it was an issue for a few years now. Offense wasn't the Canucks issue.
 
I want to see just one game this season where they have a late lead without the last 10 minutes turning into a shooting gallery for the other team.

It seems more like no one knowing where to put it in his wheel house, so far I have only seen POJ and Smith do it consistently well for him, meanwhile Sid will pass it too close to his skates, Jake too far ahead of him, etc.

Rakell has a long stick, he doesn't do a full wind up, he does like a low wind up and rips it on net.

Sid just gave him a perfect one. On a plate. He stopped it. Teed it up. Wired it high far side around the boards and out.
