Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that goal was the fault of a forward. Hanifin was covering Stone (I believe) at the side of the net, Fox was pressuring the passer (Marner), and I believe Matthews was the one who left McDavid to also attempt to pressure Marner
Slavo and Jarvy get back safe and re-sign Rantanen. That was fun, but it’s time for real hockey again.

They gifted that win to Canada. Leaving McDavid alone in front like that… well not good obviously. Disappointing ending, but the tournament was a huge success. It far exceeded my expectations.

It’s awesome to see the respect Slavin is finally getting… I live in southern British Columbia and the amount of people (I’m the only canes fan in the area) coming up to me to chat about how awesome he is brings a smile to my face… been trying to tell them for years, they finally see it

Now Bettman and the rest of the NHL, promote the shit out of these guys and don't blow this momentum. McDavid, Tkachuk x2, MacKinnon etc. should be plastered EVERYWHERE for the foreseeable future.
