I think they’ll be treated as the underdog simply because they lost the last game between the two and it makes a better story should they win.

By who? I don’t think Canadian media or fans would paint themselves as an underdog in a best on best hockey game. Ever. Even if they actually were. Sportsbooks have the game as a pick ‘em.

This is 2 very evenly matched teams and I can’t buy a narrative that because they lost 1 game (without their best defenseman) they are an underdog.
