Nope, he was not on most rosters at that point in this thread. I also have posts back to January of last year on the Wild board, when he really started taking off after being called out by Guerin specifically for the possibility of making this event.
There were some who had him on the roster after World's for sure, but the people who didn't watch world's did not have him on at all, and the people on this board who actually watched World's were few and far between.
