kreider out for newbury. what a joke. so i guess the 15 minutes of total ice time that torts gave kreider is enough to determine hes not ready for the nhl?

I don't think as Rangers fans we are in the position to question the Rangers coaching staff in how they handle young players. The proof is in the pudding. If they think Kreider should sit right now, it's the right move.

In a 48 game season he should be thankful he got three games to show some improvement.

It really sucks that Kreider has been so ineffective to start the season. I had a feeling that relying on Kreider might backfire, but when you realize what this team looks like when he's out of the lineup, it's kind of concerning. Hopefully Pyatt can continue to play well and Hagelin/Stepan/Callahan start playing better. Still need a more capable bottom-6 forward, IMO (Dom Moore would be nice).
