Totally worth 7 more years of it lol.

One can have all kinds of objections against Kreider’s contract. My biggest concern is logjam with both Panarin and Kreider on the left.

With that said, I don’t think Kreider ever has played better than he does right now and I see no reason for that to change. He has had many really good chances but no puck luck ao far.

He has gone from being more or less a “dumb” player — to be brutally honest — when he was like 21-22 to someone who is darn smart with the puck more often than not. Think Ziba and co really have rubbed off on him.

Miller is way better than I was expecting. I actually thought JD was blowing way too much sunshine up his coolie too soon.

Def wrong on that one.

Chytil is on the verge of breaking out.

I'll believe it, when I see it. I don't see the tools honestly. He can skate and defend, the rest is so meh.

I thought I was alone, but I thought that was a terrible period. Slow, weak, as one said earlier, an AHL game.

Playing JJ can only be explained with: still rebuilding. There is no other reason not to play the obviously better player in Smith.

I agree. Just saying, sometimes it feels like it’s more or less a norm that when a kid reaches that state — years will pass and just when you give up on him, it comes...

Best NYR forward from the first period: Phil di Guiseppe. 110% hustle and heart and trying to make plays.
He took a couple of questionable shots, he should have made the better decision in passing it those couple of times. Other than that, He does play hard for sure.

Agreed. I don’t get the Kreider hate. He has been solid since the start of the season but is just snake bitten

lafresque lookin like player who spent time in junior beerhockeyleague putting up points like anyboty . there have a been many example of player who play success many many points in some junior beerleague and maybe wjc too and then diseapearing. lafresque coach and team headquarters trying to force something from him. they will play him to death whole year. strange thing strong big finnish young atletic boy kakko they put down here instantly. they not playing him at all and took his confidence away. im amazed at this situation here.

first period of lafresque hockey to me. i must say lafresque doing all things wrong . not saying anything but kakko should at this day be very ahead of lafresque here in team line for playing 1st or 2nd line hockey. lafresque odd young man here. he dont belong to these lines. he belong to 4th line if any line at this team. he must deserve this. not deserving anything from playing at junior beerleague. 1 in draft dont mean anyththing. it is how and good you are,. nothing more. thanks

Just got home from church. Can anyone give me a quick summary of the period if possible (just mainly if they played well or not, especially, Lafreniere, Miller, and Kakko)? Thank you.
