Hmmm. This was rigged. Jackets have gone rogue before, but this is a bit much.

But sounds good to me.

He produces when he plays with the Slovakian teams. He is buried behind two 20 year olds in Sioux Falls and doesn't get the pp time that he does with the national teams.

Every single time I have watched him he has absolutely grabbed my attention with his mobility and puck skills. Considering that he is widely accepted as one of the best defenders in the dzone in the entire draft, the inclusion of the skill that I have witnessed really pumps his stock up. IMO he is easily the most underrated dman of this class and is a lot closer to Reinbacher And Willander than he is to the rest of the class that is typically viewed as 2nd/3rd rounders. Watch him in the U18 games where he was outstanding, this is not a stay at home one dimensional defender.

Points can be very misleading for dmen as so much of their production relies on forwards, especially those who score off of the rush.

I knew this pick wasn't sexy enough to be overly popular on this board but I really wanted a RD with top 3/4 potential and IMO the only two left were Strbak and Bonk. I think Strbak is a 1st round talent and might have taken him at 31 if Stenberg didn't miraculously fall into my lap.

Anyways.....I entirely respect those who question the pick because they are right to question any pick at this point of the draft.
Nice pick early 2nd, not sexy since the upside is limited, but very safe. You got there a kid who does everything well and is rock solid at defending, he is physical, take good decisions under pressure, has good mobility and moves the puck well enough. I think Strbak offensive upside is limited though, wont quarterback a PP, but he is a rock you want on a top PK unit. I see him as a solid 4th defenseman, a perfect complement to a puckmoving and more offense oriented partner. getting that late 1st, early 2nd is very good value. I disagree that he is close to Reinbacher though, Reinbacher has a much higher offensive upside, top pairing vs 2nd pairing.

I like your haul so far for the Habs, of course if Carlsson is there at 5, you run at the podium to make the pick and Stenberg at 31 OV is a huge value pick, I have him in my top 15.

Thanks bruh. Ciernik is pretty underrated IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if all of my first 3 picks bust, but they all have loads of offensive talent.
Thats why I love you, youre a balls to the wall guy just like Mrb1p.
The Nashville Preds are proud to select both from the Kitchener Rangers dman Hunter Brzustewicz and center Carson Rehkopf

I’m gonna take

59: Carson Bjarnarson

ANA needs a goalie and he’s BPA at this point so perfect fit

60: Danny Nelson

didn’t thought he would be here. Love the upside for a guy who was playing Dmen not longtime ago.

@Sookind have been PMed

Thought Bjarnason had more chances to survive to my next pick than Stramel.

Not a lot of decent goalie pick left.
