Is Del Zotto in the lineup tonight? Wondering with all of these trade rumors.

The idea that we should sit Nash because Hank is sitting is moronic. We have Talbot performing extremely well behind Hank. Who is replacing Nash? Pyatt?

The idea to keep under performing players in the line up is "moronic" as you agree with it. Let me spell it out for you, it's not because Hank is bad I want Nash to sit, it's because HE'S BAD!!! Good God

How can people say Nash is bad? Really? The guy has had some injury problems and is struggling, sure he could maybe be sat and that is reasonable... But to say he's bad? Come on now. That's ignorant.

Since you're a Devils fan I'll forgive you for not understanding how the logic works around here.

Well that may be true, but the only logic I see is reasonable logic. The guy is clearly a great player, but is struggling right now. I just find the fact that he's being abandoned on by some people is somewhat upsetting, although a bench spot for a game might do him some good.

And HFBoards logic confuses me all together, I try and understand.

Thank you DevsFan for at least trying to talk reason with some people here. Its hilarious if god forbid a player struggles a couple games.

Calling him bad is mild, really. You should see some of the crap people post about him.

For the record I said he is playing bad, as in currently.

Ok.

You said "if AV wants to be consistent, he should sit Nash, too"

I countered "there is no one capable of replacing what Nash brings, while Talbot has been better than Hank"

They are not comparable situations.

Logic! It's not just for the coherent anymore.

When a skater is playing bad, you keep playing him until he becomes good again.

When a goalie is playing bad, you play your other goalie.

Why? Because a single skater not scoring can't lose you games the way a goalie can

A couple of games ? He has been pretty mediocre since joining the rangers and now plays not to get hurt.

He's supposed to be a power forward, go to the dirty areas and score goals. He plays a perimeter game and rarely engages.

A one armed Gaborik was more effective

Nash is really stinking it up this season, how can anybody say otherwise?

Good to know that 21 goals in 44 games is mediocre. Brilliant observation.

Sorry he is pretty much a non factor IMHO. Yes he has points so did Richards last year.

He has 3 hits this year. The guy is not elite. And he gets paid to be dominate. Wake me up when he decides to play like he is supposedly capable

This year is one thing. Let's not over compensate and act like he was terrible last year. He was our best offensive player.

Within one page Nash has gone from bad to mediocre to underperforming. If posters stop using so much hyperbole when expressing their opinions there would be hope in actually getting somewhere on the merits of the discussion.

So....tell me.....what is it exactly that Nash is "bringing"? Exactly

Nash has been poor but stepan despite points is more disapointing. Stepan has become a glider unwilling to physically engage. Stepan should be nowhere near team USA nor should cally. However, as USA supporter I want Hank in goal for swedes and Nash on Canada's top line despite his play in van.
