At least instead of watching Boomhauer outplay Cashquist, we are watching him outplay Talbot.
 
You guys are real tough on goalies.. Partial break away and a deflection = 2 soft goals same thing with a lot of the "softies" hank gives up...
It's hockey... People are gonna score goal on you
 
I swear we dominate and dont score yet we make one mistake and theres a goal in the back of the net

Yeah, but the last 5% still isn't there.

We don't really get under their skin. More hits, more really crisp passes etc would open things up. Our top guys must step up a bit too. We don't get many elite offensive plays from our D's...
 
I'm just gonna go ahead and blame the fact that we're behind on Rick Nash, who continues to not do his job

That was a bad angle shot that snuck through him. I hate how because something is a partial breakaway that automatically absolves the goalie.
 
we will turn this around...
watching miller at times makes me think think we have a major contiiuter in the future!(given the right linesmates going forward) LGR!!!!

You know, calm down.

Washington has some really dangerous players. We aren't really comfortable. They lead 2-1 on home ice. Its hockey.
 
One chance Nash got was with Kreider and Moore actually being effective in the Caps zone...hmm
 
Yet another problem that has been more evident lately - this team has some of the worst hands around the net. The only way they can score from close range is through a deflection.

Miller is looking great. I love that kid. Kreider is finding his role in the NHL. Richards is playing really well. Nash has 4 shots after 2. A lot of players are looking good. Even Girardi is playing better. Our first is still kind of struggling to find their style, but I still like that AV is patient with them

The team must find its way though. Before that we will struggle.

Or maybe it's just that every goalie is able to outplay the entire Rangers team, not our goalie.
