I won't lie I have grown in my later years to root for the eagles and steelers in football. Probably because they never play each other. I just rather at least one PA team win at this point.

But, may I be struck dead by lightning on a sunny day if I will _ever_... _ever_... root for the Flyers in any way possible.

To be very honest I’ve become more of a fan of many Members of the Boards of Teams since I’ve joined. When it comes Playoff time, I’ll only have a few teams that I’ll be following and Pittsburgh will be one of them.

Will always like the Eagles now after them being the only team with the guts to beat the Pats(when the other 3 could have easily yet choked, Philly loses their franchise QB and goes all out in that game).

Of the recent era of superbowls eagles - pats was by far the best super bowl I've ever seen.
Actually of any superbowl since I started watching, 90's on, that pats - eagles game was the best super bowl.

My #2 of the recent era would be Steelers - Cardinals.

Funny enough I pick a western team to root for in the playoffs just so I can root for a team during the late games and from 2000-until about 2010 I would root for the Canucks. They were fun to watch back then.

Playing Blandisi over Lafferty. Interesting. Lafferty's hit a bit of a wall, but I still like him better than Blandisi. Blandisi is limited, but he hasn't made a bunch of gaffes that get tweeners sent back to the A, so I don't see this as being a big deal.
