and he can skate backwards like an absolute champ. Not sure anyone can beat him from the red-line to his own crease backwards.

Lube and TK just add speed that we need so badly , Haks doesn't put any emphasis on skating tho sadly. See his line tonight.

Bellemare can skate & has speed but that's basically where it ends with him. He has about zero vision & hockey sense though which makes their obsession with him being a center weird. They should just put on the wing. Let him crash the boards & net as that's really the only way he's going to make anything happen in a positive sense.

I still think we'd be a better team without him & VandeVelde on it though.

Anyone can block shots if they choose to back up into their goalie all day and give the shot!

His skating is fine. Ill admit that.

His slap shot is only good if he has all day to wind up. His wrister sucks and one timer flubs 9/10 times.

I think out of all of them Cousins flashes at you every now and then. I always have been critical of him being on the team going forward but he can make plays. The others aren't much Leier IMO will be a career AHL/EURO guy. All i see is speed. What can you say hes good at?

I think Cousins has a chance at making this team if he can succeed at playing wing. He's not good enough to be a center in this league.
