I said this a week ago after the Ellis cheap shot on Buchnevich. Nothing is going to change until something horrible happens.

The worst decision is still Bortuzzo on Arvidsson. You can paralyze Arvidsson with the way he hit him, in a defenseless position. But yeah, a 4-game suspension is apparently enough

Exactly, and that has nothing to do with “Neanderthal hockey”. The enforcer is extinct in the NHL, the game has cleaned up remarkably over the last 30 years. It’s evolved, that’s why the enforcer is extinct. Hockey is a fast game, there’s always going to be high speed collisions and there’s always going to be raw emotion. Talk about an ignorant comment.

Between the ref's decisions and the DoPS not giving a flying **** about actual player safety, it's only a matter of time before a player dies Within 2-3 years we will see an active player die from something sustained in a game. Either a concussion leading to suicide again, or something far worse

But at least the boomers are happy because they get to watch Neanderthal hockey
Wait what lol
How many players have ever died from a hockey related injury? 1? and I don't think we're headed in a more dangerous direction

What is the deal with these Southern CA teams. Bunch of dirty ****ers.
They can’t keep up, get frustrated. Game plan turns from ‘let’s win’ to ‘let’s get our pound of flesh’. It has happened a million times yet the refs somehow can’t see this coming. Rather than settling things down they continue to “manage” the score. In effect rewarding the Ducks for going over the line. NHL needs to get this shit sorted.

Agreed! If the NHL doesn’t(central office, refs), then teams will. Back to the 70s(or so i’m told).
