That's what happens when a player challenges a fight then changes his mind and skates away. His teammates need to take care of that themselves or they're gonna get hurt in games like this.

When did I mention the officials? Whether or not he fought Gudbranson, took a penalty, ate a hot dog, etc, the whistle blew. While his teammate was on a breakaway. What’s complicated about that? The refs are terrible - you’re not going to see anyone disagree with that. But it has nothing to do with my point.
