lol people talking about the talent of our roster. The Devils' leading scorer is ****ing Brian Gibbons, and they're just as bad a possession team as us.

This game is either on players phoning it in, or abysmal coaching. More likely, a combination of both. But it sure as hell isn't talent on the roster.
I'm sure coaching is a part of it, but when a team consistently plays without the puck, when they struggle to make plays and passes, when they lose every puck battle, that's on the players too.

I can't remember a much better performance than this for sure. He's been amazing.

He's had many games like this throughout his career, and in fact, he's 4 saves away from his 23rd career 40+ save game.

So, assume 22 previous ones throughout his career like tonight...haha

As much as Lundqvist is in the zone, I foresee him giving up several in the 3rd.

They were right, he probably needs a one hour break. He looked exhausted skating off the ice. Mental and physical errors will happen with fatigue.

Klein almost didn't play last year. The players performances is not on Gordon.

But the roster is. You can't only say its the players fault. If the players can't perform over a full season, thats on the GM's evaluation of their ability. I didn't even think it was that talented of a defense. It was missing a first pair defensemen.

His energy level looks up, unlike the Boston game. He was pissed skating off the ice because of the disgusting mess in front of him.

He's sleeping in his own bed tonight, and the Devils are who he's playing against. I am sure he's got plenty of energy for the 3rd.

I'm hoping he comes out ready to play and not mumbling "f***ing idiots" under his breathe, all pissed off.
