It's no longer in my posting record, but I've said this for ages, now. I remember when their fans used to say I was just hating on their team, but they came to realize it about 5 years after I really began criticizing their scouting.

Like the Rangers drafts blow them out of the water - it kinda surprised me but I guess it shouldn't

Biggest problem I see in this game is the slowness of decision making in our own zone. They are getting beat to every loose puck, every attempt to make a play has a Devil either deflecting the play or pressuring enough to not have the Rangers make a good pass out of the zone for a clear.

Luckily the Devils have zero scoring talent. They’ve had about a thousand good chances and 998 spaz attacks. The dude with the crucifix outside his jersey (part of Jersey’s uniform?) must be brain damaged.

2 Teams in the entire league have less losses than the Devils and Hischier and their other kids are only going to get better.

Against a team like Dallas or Edmonton, that's fine - teams have bad games. To play this badly against the Devils/Isles etc. is unacceptable IMO. These are games they should be pumped up for.

Its not just AV and Ruff, although they are a problem, its also Gorton. He completely changed the defense this offseason, and its now worse than last season.

lol people talking about the talent of our roster. The Devils' leading scorer is f***ing Brian Gibbons, and they're just as bad a possession team as us.

This game is either on players phoning it in, or abysmal coaching. More likely, a combination of both. But it sure as hell isn't talent on the roster.
