Can you not even read what you typed? "Welcome to the NHL" somehow means "Good Job"?
Well, THAT'S a bit presumptuous, Al.
exactly what you want the 10th pick in the draft to be doing. that right there doesnt take any hockey skill whatsoever.
i just dont see the value in a high draft pick fighting a guy who can smash he face and put him down with one punch.
and to think that that kinda stuff substitutes for winning. good teams do their talking with goals and stifling defense.
stupid.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of NHL heavyweights have a little clique off the ice and get along really well.
I just hope he can turn into a legit Dman.
What'd Al say now?
Well, I certainly trust the drafting and talent evaluation skills of Glen Sather and Gordie Clark! Don't you?

Welcome to the NHL McIlrath, what a beating
amazing all the excuses, he's a kid, he went up against the toughest, it was a fight!!!! he was drafted for this reason wasn't he? he showed no physical strength, he doesn't look like he can pack a punch, looks like another rangers pick that will get every excuse in the book... add him to the list staal and lundy
please fire sather

It was hardly a beating and McGrattan is a hell of a guy to go with in your first NHL fight. But hey, why don't you go toe to toe with McGrattan, couch tough guy![]()
