Lol the on,y guy on the entire team who can even hang in there with McGratten. Huge props. People don't know what they are talking about....surprise...

Kid was eager to get something going there. Being eager means you are going to be a bit more willing to throw punches which means you are going to get hit.

It happens.

placing any importance on winning and losing is **** ing silly.

first NHL fight was against a LEGIT tough guy. Getting his dance card started off right.

Good for Dylan

exactly what you want the 10th pick in the draft to be doing. that right there doesnt take any hockey skill whatsoever.

i just dont see the value in a high draft pick fighting a guy who can smash he face and put him down with one punch.

and to think that that kinda stuff substitutes for winning. good teams do their talking with goals and stifling defense.

stupid.

I just hope he can turn into a legit Dman.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of NHL heavyweights have a little clique off the ice and get along really well.

theres def alot of respect in being one, outside of the obvious john scott like goons, guys like orr, asham, macgrattan, parros, boogy rip:( most of those guys arent kaleta like dirtbags who go out of there way to hurt guys

Holy ****, just saw Wrath went with McGratten.

He held his own. Wow. Does he know that he just fought one of the toughest in the league? Who's he looking to fight next, Scott?

It only gets easier from Gratten, man.

amazing all the excuses, he's a kid, he went up against the toughest, it was a fight!!!! he was drafted for this reason wasn't he? he showed no physical strength, he doesn't look like he can pack a punch, looks like another rangers pick that will get every excuse in the book... add him to the list staal and lundy

please fire sather

Ya know guys I really don't like to be the constant cynic lately just so you know. But its seems to be the only way I can entertain myself to watch these games lately...

Welcome to the NHL McIlrath, what a beating

It was hardly a beating and McGrattan is a hell of a guy to go with in your first NHL fight. But hey, why don't you go toe to toe with McGrattan, couch tough guy ;)

Have you ever seen him play before tonight? I'm guessing no.

All I ever hear on this forum is about how soft the team is. So a guy makes a manly stand, and he gets crapped on. I don't get it.

Nah. Good teams got role players. We alrdy got alot of skill, but not enough size. So we can trade all the skilled midgets and create a New team or ad some enforcers to the lineup.

No thanks i'm about 5'8 145, i'll get destroyed dude. Sorry for stating my opinion

The team is FINALLY actually putting up a fight rather than just getting owned by subpar competition. I come here and find the same old whinefest from the same people. Surprise, surprise.

I'm glad McI fought. That's his role. He fought arguably the best in the biz right now and he did alright.

I'm enjoying this game.
