The point in Wrath is to hopefully groom the Lucic of defensemen. It bothers me that people can't see that.

If he can be a good defenseman, and I believe he can, while continuing to improve his strength and physicality, he'll be a game changer. He's only 21. Think about how much a male body changes between 21 and say, 24. He'll be a monster.

A player that acts not only as a deterrant to cheap, chippy crap, but that players are constantly aware of? THAT'S valuable. When players watch themselves, have to play careful, that's why he's taken in the 1st round.

Ilrath and Bickel should be the tough guys on this team. So Call up Bickel and give him 3-5 mins a game. Pyatt should be traded, sent Down, whatever. He brings nothing to this team. An enforcer does.

no bickel, please no bickel, he's a bad hockey player. I hope he is either traded during the season or they let his contract run out when it ends this season and he goes elsewhere. He makes far too many mistakes both on d and offense.

Yep. There are a ton of reasons to be excited about the kid. I despised the draft pick when it was first made but I learned to live with it. Hell, over the last couple of years, I've even gotten a bit excited about his potential.

I can't wait to see him at 24.

Eh, I can at least tolerate him on O. I'd prefer to get another middleweight type player, though. If we could just clone Dorsett, that'd be awesome.

No thanks i'm about 5'8 145, i'll get destroyed dude. Sorry for stating my opinion

Okay, I'm not small and can fight, and I am going to say this as honestly as humanly possible: I would avoid McGrattan in any way humanly possible lol. Dude, I'm not trying to be a jerk. But this team has been softer than water vapor all season. Any sign of toughness, or even a semblance of a pulse, is a move in a better direction.

We get a couple guys like you in here every year. Good for comic relief.

that was a fight? mcgraaton was throwin nothin but knuckles at macarath, macarath stretched out mcgrattons sweater

Vigneault never gives Asham any ice time when he's up here so I can't imagine he'd be too fond of Stoob on the fourth line either. I like both those guys, though, they just seem like great character guys. Pyatt might be too, who knows, but he's just so boring as a player. Pouliot's been able to string two good games together for (probably) the first time this season but I've always made excuses for him, at least that's a guy in that spot who can chip in with something.

my post that was deleted was harmless, but I get it. Some of those that I was speaking about may have recognized that I was speaking about them.

still, the point remains.

Hockey IQ is pretty low

Merit to this post

Arniel was taking down Richard's dinner order for after the game.

3-5 mins dosent matter. Our roster is soft and Our opponents are aware of it. Something needs to be done. So ad two enforcers would help alot. Pyatt, MDZ and Pou also makes ALOOOOT of mistakes.

I would avoid any tough guy in the NHL lol. I'm happy he fought though, imo he needed to get the first one out of the way so he gets comfortable. I can see him staying up just because the toughness to be honest.

By all that's right in this hockey world we should win this 4-2. Flames, with new coach and GM on hot seat are a shambles. Let's Go Rangers!!!

All it takes is for him to do this once. It keeps players more honest knowing he will. He doesn't have to.

you're right, but bickel gets flat footed too often and is too slow for the NHL.
