They’ll be sheltering Jones for a bit. Especially since they’re still sheltering Nils. But that’s the smart thing to do. Hopefully it’s a steady build for those two as a pair and we can leave Nemeth in the press box for the most part.Given that Hajek got a lot more minutes than Jones last game I’m not optimistic that we see Zac Attack again tonight.
Hope to be proven wrong though- I thought he stood out in a positive way yesterday.
Another game for Zibby on the shooting side of the power play- NYR need to think a little bit about whether he should be the default option on the half boards over Panarin
With Nemeth as the 7th D? I hope not. I could see the reasoning but I don’t think it’s necessary. The fourth line, though a bit quiet lately, can be a weapon. Don’t want to sit any of them.Any chance Gallant uses 7 dman tonight? He has used this option when he was coaching Vegas.
I think they probably go with AG and hopefully he hasn’t gathered rust since his last start.Don’t want to sit geo too long as he’s shown he sucks after not playing too long, and Shesty had another groin strain and it’s a back to back. Pretty clear to me who gets the start here…
I just read AG is starting. Do we know for sure he was just in protocol or did he actually get ill?
A win this evening would be quite nice.
What if he scores (again)? Back on the list?If Strome takes another penalty tonight against this offense I'm removing my name from the hfboards Strome fanboy list.
What if he scores (again)? Back on the list?
He's been fine without Panarin during his stint here, tbh.Everything positive he does without Panarin is a feather in the cap.
To be fair, he will give up an easy one, so, ya know.Draisaitl this time skating through four of our players and ripping one past Geo, sparking another rant from Snowblind about how Geo gave up an easy one?
But Shesterkin has proven to be so durable.Guys I say this all the time. It’s one thing to play back to back. It’s another for a goalie to start 3 in 4 nights. Just too much a smart coach isn’t going to do that to their #1
That slew foot was vicious. League should be cracking down. His play was unbelievable. I thought he was drunk after the first period. Then the first shift of the second period might have been his funniest moments as a Ranger.
We have a Quinn rotation situation here?Jones and Libor in, Nils is out.
Semenko vs Fotiu if Reeves won't drop em....Expect big time games from Steve Staios, Ryan Smyth and Todd Marchant.
Nils has been way better than Hajek. But whatever I guess.. as long as Zib keeps up his play we winJones and Libor in, Nils is out.
