Given that Hajek got a lot more minutes than Jones last game I’m not optimistic that we see Zac Attack again tonight.

Hope to be proven wrong though- I thought he stood out in a positive way yesterday.

Another game for Zibby on the shooting side of the power play- NYR need to think a little bit about whether he should be the default option on the half boards over Panarin

They’ll be sheltering Jones for a bit. Especially since they’re still sheltering Nils. But that’s the smart thing to do. Hopefully it’s a steady build for those two as a pair and we can leave Nemeth in the press box for the most part.

With Nemeth as the 7th D? I hope not. I could see the reasoning but I don’t think it’s necessary. The fourth line, though a bit quiet lately, can be a weapon. Don’t want to sit any of them.

e: if it’s McKegg vs Nemeth I suppose you could be on to something. But I still think it’s better for Gallant to roll a fourth line out there.

Total speculation but I suspect everyone going into covid protocol is testing positive. It’s too rampant right now, if players entered protocol based on potential exposure only, there would be no players left.
