Georgie is fine. The excuses made for him are not.

One particular poster would have killed Hank for any of these goals but tonight its all "its fine, not Georgies fault, deflection bla bla bla, shot through the defenders leg, nothing Georgie could do bla bla bla."
Not all soft goals are created equal. The only one I can blame Georgiev for is the 2nd one, but it still wasn’t as soft as some of the ones Hank has been giving up recently.

I would say the physical play seems to be rather one sided at this point

I'd say the difference is 1 elbow and a cross check, and I'm almost positive that Lemieux would have a delivered a cross check or two if given the chance; so I guess the real question is, should we just throw some dirty elbows?

1. That's not how human biology works
2. You can discuss more than 1 thing in the thread
3. What we discuss here has no bearing on the game....

1)I’ve studied more bio than you, promise.
2)Yeah discussing more than one thing on a GDT involves more than one thing being important. Right now, there is one major goal.
3)It doesn’t, true. But by that logic we might as well delete the board.

Seriously, get real.

The books out in DQ and this team.
They don't like being hit and can't respond..

Except it wasn't "horribly soft". It was through the legs of the D from 10' out and hit the top of the net. Great shot.

Of the three, it's the one I definitely would've liked to see him save, I'll agree with that – but it is in a different stratosphere from sliding to the corner and leaving the net wide open or allowing a 50' shot to beat you.

My point being that if Hank would have let that same shot get by him he would have been killed by the usual suspects.

Do you really believe the physical play hasn’t been predominantly carried by the Predators? One team has made a concerted effort to make life miserable and be the aggressor. One has not.

He's not the future for this team. Good backup, mediocre starter. Igor better be the goods.
I tend to agree. This is why I want to sell high on Georgiev, because I just don’t see him being a future star which I think Igor will be.

I think the play is to try and maximize the return on Georgie and being Igor up and he splits with Hank. Then Hank retires after next year or resigns cheap to be a backup. If he retires we have Huska, Wall and Lindbolm in the pipe. Goalie is a legitimate strength organizationally which makes it easier to try and part with Georgie. Also if you can get a good young player or use Georgie in a package lie we did with Raanta in the Stepan deal I think you have to do it.

Maybe should have studied harder...

No not against the team

The over all league over time

Does anyone know how house edges work in sport books?

I know nothing about that and may God forgive me for saying this but who in their right mind would bet on the NYR at this point in time?

Outside of the elbow and Fast incident, no I don't its been pretty even and what seems to be consistent with teams who are chasing but still in the game and not wanting to be penalised.
Trouba is being physical, ADA is being physical, pretty much everyone is engaging when they need to or have the opportunity. What we aren't doing is throwing huge hits, but there hasn't been the legit opportunity.
I get that people want blood, but players aren't going to go full pyscho
