I noticed on my fantasy team scoring page that Lemmy got a 10 minute misconduct. I must have missed what he did when I went to take a leak or pour myself a cocktail. What did he do and is it a game misconduct or just the 10 minutes?

Jessiman did in the preseason – and McIlrath absolutely did, especially in his first couple of seasons (though the injury no doubt played a huge role in that).

How about someone steps up at the Rangers blue line and finishes a check with authority on their forward instead of stick checking? I mean there are various ways to answer this that this team should be able to employ.

There are ways to make the message clear that they will push back that are within the rules. And if you step over that line, who cares, it’s 2 minutes.

Can we take a second to marvel at the absurdity of that period? It had literally everything that has driven us to madness about this team over the past decade, other than a former Ranger scoring and a too many men penalty:

- amazing force of gravity spinning that puck so it didn’t cross the line. A Rangers miracle
- team gets bullied and fails to respond
- awful officiating. We get the short end of the stick regularly, but this is next level
- holding onto the puck too long and failing to score
- atrocious giveaways leading to goals against

Love it.

What do we expect? f*** them up then kill the dam penalty. This is about team identity and respect. Lose if you need to, but this is how every team will play us if there is no response.

I was one who was annoyed with Hank last game – despite having been a looooooong time fan – and there's a huge difference between what he did (sliding 15' outside his crease, letting in a 50' shot with no one in front, allowing the 4th SO shooter to simply skate by and get the angle) and what Georgiev has given up this game despite the limited number of shots (deflection off of a tieup in front, breakaway out of the penalty box).

You forgot the 2nd goal. The one that was horribly soft.

I am not arguing or even comparing Hank vs Georgie. I am on record saying that as long as Georgie wins he should play. My issue is with the blatant double standard some posters have to further their agenda.

Again.. This is a possible 3rd concussion to NYR players in less than a half dozen games.
