The Preds and the Devils kind of fit the same profile of unpretentious teams that don't try to do more than they can with the puck, focus on defense, etc. Seems like the formula to take us down - not the only one, of course.

I honestly believe that there is only one non-expendable player on our team and that's McD.

I'm not in the camp of tank and "rebuild" like some are here, but I am not opposed to trading UFAs for picks or pieces.

Hank's albatross contract basically assures us that there will be no attempt to rid dead weight for assets.
