Seriously. The fact that Hank's playing below his contract is a big deal with regards to team construction, etc., but we have enormous, scary problems all over the ice.

If we played the Islanders, would it create some kind of void where no one can possibly leave the victor?
 
Lundqvist reminds me of Richter, another goalie I always thought was overrated. Richter could stop pucks and made amazing athletic saves but he couldn't handle the puck and gave up way too many rebounds. I hate to say it but Brodeur was the complete goalie while Hank and Mike are/were home run hitters. We are going to really regret this contract. Right now this team is impossible to watch; just terrible. And Hank is not helping.
 
I think Sather should go back to Torts and asked him back. Only Torts can almost make cup finals with bunch of third liners and overrated goalie.

This group is no longer capable of not screwing it up and they **** up in grand fashion.

Yes, no doubt the Rangers would build an excellent team if they didn't spend money on Lundqvist. I mean, all those amazing teams before Lundqvist got here with no salary cap were sure some awesome times.

Can never blame the goaltender on a breakaway. Its on the defense. Could he have stopped it? Probably. But it would have been a very good save.

Would it be nice for him to bail out the team? Yes. And he needs to come up with a big save. But I can't fault the goaltender on a goal from a defensive breakdown. If that goes in on Talbot nobody bats an eye.
 
Can't blame Hank, but at the same time, if you're paying him 8.5 mil, he has to make at least one of those saves.

He's quickly turning into the 1997-98 Richter. Good, but not good enough on an offensively challenged team.
 
Oi vey. Rarely do I not finish games, especially after just the first period... But IDK this Rangers team has me seriously reconsidering my priorities in life.

I said I wouldn't watch any more games, and I'm not. I was ****ing serious last time around when I said they need to move players. I don't care if the trades don't have an immediate impact for us, I just can no longer see certain players in our jerseys.

I honestly believe that there is only one non-expendable player on our team and that's McD.
