Avery? :laugh:

Who gives a **** about Avery?

wake up bro......this team played with an edge when he was here. Guess your quite happy with the pansy's that have been on the ice for this team for the last two years.

Sorry, carry on

Lundqvist continues to give up goals to complete scrubs.

Our. " core players" sans McD do absolutely nothing.

Supporting players twiddle around with their thumbs.

Can't score on an ECHL goalie.

And the refs suck on top of it all.

Can someone teach Sam/Joe the rules:

There are four (4) specific conditions that must be met in order for the Referee to award a penalty shot for a player being fouled from behind. They are:
(i) The infraction must have taken place in the neutral zone or attacking zone, (i.e. over the puck carrier’s own blue line);
(ii) The infraction must have been committed from behind;
(iii) The player in possession and control (or, in the judgment of the Referee, clearly would have obtained possession and control of the puck) must have been denied a reasonable chance to score (the fact that he got a shot off does not automatically eliminate this play from the penalty shot consideration criteria. If the foul was from behind and he was denied a “more” reasonable scoring opportunity due to the foul, then the penalty shot should be awarded);
(iv) The player in possession and control (or, in the judgment of the Referee, clearly would have obtained possession and control of the puck) must have had no opposing player between himself and the goalkeeper.

It still was a bad call. That no way was a PS. He still had a reasonable chance to score and the hooking from McD only disturbed him very little, he lost absolutely no speed for instance.

This team made it to the ECF when he was not here. They actually play like a bubble team when he's here. They are currently still a bubble team.

All Avery did was fool a bunch of fans into thinking he's useful.

This game turned in the wrong direction when Miller turns the puck over early in the second in the offensive zone. Miller should not be in the NHL. He makes too many stupid plays and adds no offense to offset them. Puck goes the other way and then john moore makes an equally dumb play

It's nights like these they REALLY miss Dubi/Prust/Artie. Those guys battled and won board battles. Sather shipped those guys out when he probably should have waited for Bobby Ryan or Nathan Horton on the open market. Blah.

I might start Talbot in the 3rd just to try and get the team going, even though that's supposed to be Cally's ****ing job.

lol the first year without avery was the only year have been somewhat relevant since 94

You just know they'll make the playoffs by like one point and that ****ing cigar smoking piece of trash will go ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN GUISE and trade the farm for Mike Cammalleri and we'll be right back where we ****ing started.

**** this whole organization.

I would bet money on this happening.

Hard to believe that only two years ago this team was one of the toughest to play against. What a disappointment.

I'm not gonna try and figure out what's wrong with this team but I will say this. The majority of this core is not playing the way that got them into this league. I don't know if they're just complacent now but they aren't the same players.

Ah yes, the "Avery effect".

This is a terrible home ice team. Every team is coming into MSG and pissing all over our ice. It's a disgrace.

The ice sucks at the Garden, period. They can't make a pass, any kind of attempt at a pass gets picked off and goes for an odd man rush against, or bounces over a stick for an icing.

It benefits patient road teams.

The Rangers best home stretch in recent history coincides with the NBA being out in 2011-12.

The Garden provides no home ice advantage at all.

The bad trade was the Gabby one. They traded for Nash because, "one scorer wasn't enough." So they promptly trade the second scorer after like 40 games, causing the same problem we had originally.

Dubinsky is gritty but overpaid and hurt a ton. Anisimov is good but inconsistent just like brassard. Erixon is a ld and has done nothing.

Really blaming them for getting a goal scorer is comical

indeed i am. you cant take what they are doing today and say it would have happened here. Dubinsky ( even though I was not a huge fan of his ) was part of the core. Played with more heart than almost anybody on this team. AA was a great two way player, he had a little edge and did more on the ice than most remember. Erixon is not proven yet and I really dont put much stock into him on whether he would pan out or not.

Dubi and AA back to NYR please.

He played half of last year in the ECHL. It means nothing. He's currently playing quite well in the A and is a legitimately good goaltending prospect. He's made some very good saves tonight.

That said, the team is playing like garbage and has the backbone of worm.

Talbot wont play. We havent seen him since he got two straight starts and the media threw AV to the wolves.
