Sather is the reason this team sucks, not AV.

Back to the game, this is a loss with or without that penalty shot. But it still blows to get ****ed by a call like that.

The bad trade was the Gabby one. They traded for Nash because, "one scorer wasn't enough." So they promptly trade the second scorer after like 40 games, causing the same problem we had originally.

40 games? It was a lockout year.

When you think about it, we had tons of depth but no star power. Traded for Nash and then we had too much star power and no depth. Traded Gaborik.

Hockey is different here.

I really hate this team! No balls at all i dont even see guys tryin to at least get descent check in there? it is time to get rid of these ass clowns n bring up some guys who will ****in fight! Big Mac needs to be up, he cant be much worse then some of the guys up on the team pretending to be defencemen?

I hate to say it, but they could have Sidney Crosby on this team and they still would not score goals. lol.

AV has come here and improved what he was brought in to imrpove. But in the process he had to compromise aspects of our game which Torts made strong. When coaches have to compromise, the team is just no good.

wake up bro......this team played with an edge when he was here. Guess your quite happy with the pansy's that have been on the ice for this team for the last two years.

Sorry, carry on

Avery played a whopping 15 games in the best season the franchise has had in forever.

Bro

This team made it to the ECF when he was not here. They actually play like a bubble team when he's here. They are currently still a bubble team.

All Avery did was fool a bunch of fans into thinking he's useful.

Dont want to get too off topic, but there was a good stretch where he was extremely effective. But that's in the past. We need more than Sean Avery to help this team.

We really don't miss Gaborik in his current (ie since 2012) form. I still think the return was alright and I think Moore will turn his game around. Our problem is, that our core players are almost all underperforming by a fair margin. Stepan, Callahan, Lundqvist all have shown that they can play much better.

I would be the first one to blame Hank on that 2nd goal, but he simply did not see the shot because of multiple screens. This whole team is just weak. Sather just didn't do much in the last 10 years or so. Until he is a GM, not much will happen IMO.

He played half of last year in the ECHL. It means nothing. He's currently playing quite well in the A and is a legitimately good goaltending prospect. He's made some very good saves tonight.

That said, the team is playing like garbage and has the backbone of worm.

If I change "ECHL goalie" to "third string goalie", would that make you feel better?

Once again, they're not breaking the pattern of not being able to take advantage of not-good goalies.

If we kept that 2012 ECF team together and maybe signed another 1-2 guys, i think it would have worked. 52 games won and you break the teak up?

Your name sake is a little to blame. If we had two good centers, instead of one last year, they probably never feel the need to get another one. And Gabby probably produces enough where Torts doesn't run him out of town.

Our powerplay is better, truth. But our offense hasn't exactly looked "unleashed"

Powerplay looks better.

EVERYTHING looks worse. EVERYTHING.

I can't see him leave soon enough. ****, give Mess a call for all I care,

Avery? Really?

I said it first half jokingly, but it would definitely be an interesting experiment. Is he gonna save this team by scoring a point per game? Absolutely not. But he will piss them off and get them to play angry, which is something Vigneault clearly cannot do.

This team would be way better if they had Avery skating around the ice telling everyone about his numerous sexual partners
