They would not get a good return anyhow.

I guess it is mostly a question of management giving up on him

At this point, trading him is all about cap space, not "value" coming back.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he got a decent return if he had a good stretch. Not an amazing return but something more than cap space. Galchenyuk is one of those players who has gotten a long leash for potential and decent production. Him looking like a mess will chip away at what remains of that.

That’s what most thought when Mattaa was dealt

Because so many people spent so much time complaining about him they thought JR was trading, well, JJ.

Im sure a 24 year old kid can go back to back after sitting half the year.

I don’t see the point. I could care less about “getting” Jarry another nice start. This is a good opportunity to put Muzz back in and hopefully get him some confidence back against a struggling team.

Seriously don’t know why people hate Murray so much. Just wanna win- idc who the goalie is. They’re all weirdos anyway

This whole 'getting confidence back' is such bullshit. It's against a weak ass team. If Murray is having confidence issues for real, then the next weak / crap goal he gives up against a tough contending team then he will be right back in the shaken confidence category anyway.

just tuned in to the end of the first...Geno padding his stats I see against the Wings...good...would be the height of embarrassment to crap out against the craptastic wings...he should come out of this game with two more points as long as Sully doesn’t put JJ behind him...

Sully has almost exclusively run Letang-Marino behind Geno's line. Plan SEEMS to be to look to win on the strength of that stacked unit and special teams and hope everyone else breaks even.
