 Went to make some coffee and missed a Ruhwedel goal. Guess that dumpster's in the lineup forever now, great stuff.

They would not get a good return anyhow.

I guess it is mostly a question of management giving up on him

At this point, trading him is all about cap space, not "value" coming back.
That’s what most thought when Mattaa was dealt

dumbass #46. He had to shoot that. He couldn't wait 1 more second until #53 is near to receive the rebound. Good idea #46. Except you had a brain fart

Pittsburgh, Pa
He has been the perfect.7th for us for years.

He is what he is and that's fine. If he has to be a regular, he is underwhelming but as a 7... perfect.

Yes but this staff really looks for reasons to overplay him... he is great for a game or two, then he tries to do too much and costs us games... he will either try to force offense and start giving things up the other way, or try to take hits that put him out of position... every single time he comes up its the same pattern... nice solid play... a little success.... forcing things... collapse... really poor play... finally coaches sit him again.. rinse, repeat....

Erry should lay off of the crowd being loud already jeeez.

Pittsburgh is one of the most quiet hockey crowds I have ever been too... nothing to brag about there Erry.

Despite the sloppiness in the OZ for everything not Line 1 they managed the puck alot better in their own zone that period vs the ARI game. So kudos to that.

You can see the good and bad with Noesen. He is by far our slowest player, but he's pretty good at taking a second to make a good play. He'd be a fulltime NHL player in the right system.
I have a similar take, seems to be good around net, but he is slow moving through NZ and does not pass well or anticipate pass, that maybe inexperience with these guys, I don't see him sniffing a shoift with Sid or Geno...

just tuned in to the end of the first...Geno padding his stats I see against the Wings...good...would be the height of embarrassment to crap out against the craptastic wings...he should come out of this game with two more points as long as Sully doesn’t put JJ behind him...
