For decades there was one ref.

You cannot excuse a player being tripped at the blueline leading to a breakaway the otherway.

Yeah, I'm not sure if you remember the reffing from those decades. Players got away with murder.

I'm not excusing it, but my point is if there was a 2nd ref it would have been caught and called. Someone like you who has never actually reffed a hockey game, doesn't understand all the different things that can obstruct your view on any given play.

I am not sure if you remember it was a different game back them.

So was his view obstructed when he was staring right at the blatant hold he refused to call? Was he obstructed when gauthier was breaking in and decided to blow the whistle inappropriately?
