Again, they were supposed to be a bubble team this season. So this isn't surprising. But hey I am enjoying them being able to compete this season. If you want to focus on the negatives go ahead. Just seems like a miserable way to be a fan.

I don’t think Nemeth has been so bad. He should be focusing on defense but the way things have been going lately, he has tried to step up on the offensive end. And that has looked really bad. With Lundkvist I think Nemeth can afford to hang back. But with Hajek, not so much. Maybe they’ll gel a bit going forward but hopefully Nils is back soon.
Too bad Papa didn’t get to see a better outcome. Though I thought the game was good. The offense is just a step out-of-synch.
With Nemeth on they get stuck in D zone a lot. He's not good at moving the puck even when he gets it.

Maybe this shows that Lundkvist’s defense and transition has really developed quite nicely. As in, Nils has been carrying the pair. If so, I can definitely see Jones and Lundkvist as a pair, maybe sooner rather than later.
How is it trivial? The rub on this team has been that they can beat up on the bad teams but they can't beat the good ones. They still can't beat them.
