Fox would be in my top 2 on this team right now but Strome has been good on shootouts, when he came across the blueline even i knew he was going five hole so their goalie saw it coming too.

Best team we've played all year. They clobbered us for 50 minutes. The mistake was playing prevent defense in the 3rd period and trying to sit on a 1-point lead on a high-scoring team. IMHO, should have tried to pick up the insurance goal instead.

I guess we saw different games then. I mean yeah the Rangers had a good 2nd period, but the first was all Vegas and the 3rd was pathetic by the Rangers. Vegas is a great team, so I'm not taking anything away from them but I really don't see how the Rangers are the best team they have played all year.

When have they looked good at any point this month? And even when they've been winning they haven't played that well. Horrible 5 on 5, they are constantly outshot. They had 2 shots in that third period! This is who this team is.

They're top 5 in the league in the standings when they were supposed to be a bubble team. Team still has a lot of flaws but enjoy their success a little man. No one expects them to win the cup this year.

The reason they are top 5 is because they have had the third weakest schedule in the league and have beaten up on the weaker teams in the league. They are something like 6-10 against teams with actual winning records.

The Rangers played very well early in the 3rd, and totally shut us down. But just playing defense against a high-scoring team like the VGK isn't a good idea, and frankly that's where they've lost it.

As far as best team we've played, yep. The Rangers controlled the game and never let it develop into the wide-open style where the VGK gets results, until of course the OT period and even then Georgiev played lights out. Somebody should buy that man a great big lollipop steak, 84 ounces of it.
