Trade Howden, sell high on Strome, sell Kreider high after the post Hall frenzy, trade Skjei for a package, retain Fast on a cheap 4 year deal, buyout Henrik, Shesty/Georgiev opening night, fire coach except Dineen and Allaire, buyout Staal, sign a few discount post free agency players, K'Andre stays in school, bring Nils over, Bring Vitaly over to finish the year in the A, Draft 3 times in the 1st round this year, sign Tony long term, give Lias a shot as the 3C to after the deadline, hire a new coaching staff.

Staal is a passenger out there, as expected. He played OK his first game back after being sat for 2 weeks, and of course, he is back to his normal self again.

I understand the need (for some) to constantly have the same narrative about #18....but what has he to do with this score tonight? There's nothing egregious….nothing glaring....yet for some reason THIS is what is setting you off in this game.

Haha, just had to bust your chops on that one.

However, you did make a pretty good point about how we higher quality shooting talent than a good chunk of team, and it really does make me wonder what they'd look like in a more shot-heavy system. I actually like how we rotate and cut through seams a lot when we're in the offensive zone, but we waste so many good opportunities by holding onto pucks instead of firing it.

I really don’t care about the analytics for the Kings. They are a bad team. They haven’t done much on their own in this game. The Rangers have not player with energy or speed. They are not skating. They are making this is an easy game.
