Definitely. Carlson would be a Norris Trophy candidate if the Caps played the Rangers every game of the season. Seems like Chimera has 10 goals against the Rangers and like 5 against every other team combined.

He was invisible last year. He did score some key goals in 10/11 and lit us up in 08/09.

Our defense is good...but I like our chances a lot more if Staal is back.

If we can get Staal back and have Stralman/Moore as our bottom 2 D, it's probably the best D group the Rangers have had in the playoffs since the 04 lockout

Pretty sure he's been cleared for contact and playing for weeks now. Its all about how comfortable he is with playing with impeded vision.

Right, he's been practicing. But he hasn't been cleared to play yet. Still waiting for a reduction in the blurry eyesight. Hopefully he wakes up tomorrow with 20/20 vision.

It bodes well for us that we are the most disciplined team/least penalized team in the league. Especially in the playoffs. Would love to get Staal and Boyle back to shore up the PK though.

Don't give Girardi any PP time and focus him on the PK!

We have a better chance with Boyle on the PK. God forbid Stepan, Cally or Powe get called. Hagelin isn't too bad but its pretty meh after that. I do not want to see Rick Nash on a PK against the Caps.

LGR! the reason I didn't want to play Boston was because it is inevitable that Chara will injure someone via slapshot and that Wade Redden will score a hat trick against us, an embarrassment I cannot live through.
