That was a horrific effort. Team looked slow and lazy. They didnt compete. They didnt skate hard. Barely possessed the puck. It was brutal.

And we maybe couldve stole a point but hey Lemieux decided to be a selfish *******
They did look really lazy at times. In the 3rd I noticed guys just standing around even with Edmonton on the rush guys just waltzing back taking their time. They looked like a preseason team. Doesn’t help that we have only one line capable of having any significant zone time.

Leave the lines alone for now IMO. They're 2-1. They're not going to be gangbusters every night. If you're going to shake up the lines after each stinker, it's going to be a long and sloppy season.

The guys the Rangers really need to get turned around are Kreider and Skjei. Find a way to get them going and the team will be fine.

Brutal performance from just about everyone, maybe excluding Fox. Same old same old, and sure maybe they were rusty but man it just seems like the same problems always rear their head. Neutral zone is an open invitation for the opposing team, losing puck battles galore, can't sustain any sort of offensive pressure and when they do they always have to look for the perfect shot and overpass instead of making the simple play.
Yeah, I get that we have to be patient with the personnel, but like @Raspewtin pointed out, we've shown no improvement on the same exact problems since AV was playing Paille.

After this one hopefully will get to watch Kravtsov play tonight

I'm assuming you mean trading Kreider this summer? How do you know what he was offered for Kreider? would you have taken a late first rounder or a second and a b level prospect for Kreider?

Figure it out trade him or sign him should have learned a lesson with the bucket of slop we got for Zuccarello last deadline

Time to change the bottom 9. Outside of the top line nobody is clicking. They essentially have an elite first line, a second line that lacks a 2C, and 2 4th lines. Edmonton deserved to win, despite their boring Jackass Lemaire inspired trapping. Kreider needs to get his head out of his ass but then again that about sums up his entire NHL career. Can’t wait to see Howden moved up to the second line while Lias plays with Smith and Haley next game. Quinn can be such a hypocrite sometimes. Oh well, see you all after Thanksgiving:sarcasm:

Neither of them will be on the team long term. Skjei has fallen off a cliff since that great playoff run that he had.

Before the season, I said the two keys were Buch taking a big step and Chytil being ready to be a #2 center.

Buch might (doubt it).

Chytil not being good enough caused a horrible ripple effect in the lineup.
