Kreider looks like the V for Vendetta guy

Everyone was bad tonight.

The guy that’s not taking enough heat: Quinn did a horrible job today.

The Rangers blew 4 leads, gave up goals right after they scored them, gave up goals at the end of periods and took a TMM penalty.

He insisted on playing the same pairs that were struggling all night. Staal and Pionk just kept getting more ice time. Our goalie was horrible, but he left them in.

He showed how much of a rookie he was tonight too.

The defensive play from our forwards is just terrible.

how can you blow so many leads?

Zbad was terrible again

This team finds ways to lose.

We were lied to when they promised us that this will be a puck possession system, they still dump the puck and ice it.

We need to trade for a defensively responsible forward like Oscar Lindberg.

Howden is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. 3rd line center is his basement.

Staal needs to GTFO. My eyes bleed every time he’s on the ice.

ADA proved he should start after the camp he had. He should have started every game.

Chytil will be a very good player for a very long time, but I feel playing 20 min a night in Hartford for a little while will help him in the long run.

Our defenders need to stop chasing the ****ing puck behind our net. It’s moronic.

Gorgey was brutal. I feel like we get 2 points if Henrik got the start.. Then again, we probably wouldn’t have scored 5 if he did start. The universe doesn’t allow that.

Sharks on Thursday, McDavid and co on Saturday.

Could easily be looking at 0-5...
The Oilers are a joke. A paper tiger with a defense like ours. Mcdavid or no Mcdavid. But yes it could be 0-5.
The Sharks game scares me. It could be a 7-2 loss easy

I could never figure out the lines, they changed almost every shift. It was chaos out there, how can you expect to win?

I'm not so sure about this coach...

Welp that was something alright. Good to see they finally scored goals but the D and G was B.A.D.

Someone compared Vesey to Higgins. I agree. He's going to score 20 goals a few times and maybe 30 somewhere else but to expect him to be a 50-60 point player is not realistic.

It's not Howden favored of Chytil. Chytil had the Too Many Men penalty and you gotta pay the price with PP minutes for that one. No favoritism. Also remember Howden is a full year older than Chytil so he has more man strength.

Is this tough love for Shattenkirk? Is he hurt? Is he in the doghouse? Remember Quinn benched him years ago in the AHL.

Zuccarello is having an awful start. I appreciate him for what he's done in his career, but he is easily the most overrated Ranger of the entire late Torts-AV era. He's a 55 point player because he disappears for games at a time. He gets treated like Adam Oates or Ron Francis by this fanbase which has always been infatuated with smaller guys showing heart, and picking a defenseman to hound. He's not elite, never was, and he's not going to suddenly go to Anaheim or Vegas and become a 70 point player.

I had high hopes for this team being like 2010-11 but I will say I was very wrong. This team may have more individual talent on paper, but that team at least had players who all fit a system and wasn't a collection of misfit toys, a goalie entering his prime, two elite shut down D, and two outstanding rookie D.

And I'm not getting on board the Hughes train. There is NO WAY the NHL is letting the Rangers get Hughes. None. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I know even if they finish with the worst record in the league, it's not happening. Best they can hope for is getting Kakko. I can easily see them ending up with #3 or #4 and everyone on here not seeing it coming. I'd rather have Kakko but I'll "settle" for Cozens, Newhook, or Turcotte.

Fun game to watch, young guys are looking pretty darn good. Vets are a mess, I am worried about the trade return we will get from some of these guys. I want to say Zucc and Hayes are both going to lower there value if they keep this up. This is exactly what we should expect all year, lots of fun, and a loss. In the end, it is also the best thing for the team going forward. Be in games, win some, but still get a very good pick. They kids wont suffer unless you do it for years (example: Edmonton, Buffalo) which I would not do past I would say the end of next year.

Anyone flipping out and saying this is terrible. Guess what, this is what we all signed up for. You can't tear it down and STILL win guys, you have to bottom out at least a year or two (and I am calling 2 at least). Be happy you weren't hear for the 80s teams and the post SC crazy overpriced retirement home teams. Now those teams had no future, AND they sucked.
