Just waiting for my Devil fan buddies to call up and ask if I want to watch the game just so I can tell them to fly a kite off a volcano.
 
If this game is going to be a blow-out, the Devils will win. We've got a good shot if it's close, especially if it comes down to a shootout with Hedberg in net.

I'm going to predict a 2-1 Rangers win. Gabby scores early, Devs tie it in the 2nd, Nash gets a late goal in the 3rd. Hanks plays well, shots even.

Also, does anyone on here HATE the Devils' goal chant? They yell "Hey! You suck!" during the beat of the song, I think it's classless.

snakebitten =/= shooting two feet off the net.

Although I did think he was the best Dman out there last night. His, and the teams, tendency to miss the nets on opportunities is maddening however.

so since Lundqvist is starting tonight, does this mean Biron will most likely play on Thursday vs Panthers?? im gonna say 3-2 Rangers OT win tonight... goals by Miller Del Zotto and GW by Nash
 
Florida has been decimated. Biron should definitely get that start.

that is exactly why. The Rangers are one of the only teams that will not beep the horn at the end of a home win. (ours is not really a horn anyway.)

Instead they do "The Rangers Victory Song."

Then again, Florida is in prime position to defeat us considering their injuries. It's how we roll.

Correctomundo.

Some people are mistaken thinking they don't play the goal horn after a shootout win, which is half true. If we win on one of our shots, the horn goes. If we win on a Hank save, right to the victory song.

You're not alone. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE their goal song. To yell "You suck" in a goal song is not only classless, but very odd. You're supposed to be celebrating your team's goal, not the other team's shortcomings. Plus it's just obnoxious.

I hate it because it's the most overused song in sports, not just because of the "Hey! You Suck!" You hear that at every single god damn sporting event. Have some originality.
 
Hedberg is exactly the type of goaltender we want. Makes individual saves pretty well, but tends to allow the softie if he's not expecting the shot.

Knock NJ out of the playoffs here.
 
I'd play Henrik, not because I dislike Biron, but because Henrik's career record against New Jersey is pretty outstanding. He gets up for these games.
