Need 2 points here. Win tommorow and if results go our way (Bruins win and we win in regulation) and we tie for 6th place.

Got to build off yesterday's win, otherwise it's back to square one. A loss tonight would be absolutely devastating, this is one of those huge four point swing games, and the Rangers need to act accordingly coming off the win.

Can't even make a prediction right now, I really have no idea what team to expect tonight.

We need all the help we can get at this point. Maybe we can start helping ourselves.

Predicting a 3-1 victory for the Blueshirts tonight!

A convincing win would be nice after sitting through the embarrassment at the Rock like the last game in Jersey was

The hesitancy to shoot when opportunity was present, was maddening yesterday, along with the passing preference. If the guys could just think react, shoot, when those opportunities arise, we'd see more goals.

NYR 3 - NJD 2

The guys that are scoring and being productive offensively are the guys that are shooting the god damn puck when they have it. Stepan hasn't passed much when he had net to look at. Callahan doesn't get too many chances but he always puts it on net like he did in the OT and taking it net front for the eventual Stepan goal. Hagelin who's being a catalyst of sorts is also putting pucks on net. Gaborik was decent last night. Nash is passing and Richards is passing. Everyone needs to hesitate less and just put the puck on net.

1 guy puts puck on net, 1 guy drives to the net = goals.
1 guy passes to other guy who's unsure what's happening and doesn't want to shoot it right away = no goals.

I want such an emotional win, that their fans go home crying.

How long before the Devils fans come crusading here?

Devils 3 Rangers 2.
They expose our weak transition game and throw 3 men to forecheck and counter our silly "system" which is to play hot potato on the boards in all 3 zones.

The ECF showed that even with players that buy into the system of shotblocking and collapsing D, Tortorella gets out-coached on a routine basis against the Devils, who can adjust to any type of situation, unlike the NYR, who run around like chickens with their heads cut off when the going gets tough.

If we have any chance to win, McDonagh, Girardi, Nash, Hank will have to come up Huge tonight.
I'm just not confident in this "team's" chances this year.Last night was the same old where Carolina could have scored 4 or more considering how much space Pitkanen and Staal had to crash the net. We were lucky Jordan and Jeff are slumping so we crawled out with a 2-1 SO victory.

Now is the time to change the gameplan or else it will backfire on us because the Devils know our game as well as anyone.

After watching Hedberg play all of these games in a row, it's clear why he is a backup. Watching him some the Rangers is going to even more frustrating than usual.

I always wondered why the Rangers don't play the goal horn after a shootout win since every other team I've watched does. Most other teams plays the goal horn even after a shootout goal.

Remember that good ol' feeling of a winning streak?

I want that feeling back..

Sorry Devils, you're in our way...
