I mean, I don't want to completely derail this thread (although maybe we should with the way we've been playing) but I never understood the infatuation with guys like Forsberg and Lindros.

Lindros had his best season when he was 22 in 95-96 when he scored 115 points. Gretzky was 34 that year, on the downturn of his career and he scored 102 points. Basically Gretzky at the end of his career was just as good as Lindros in his prime.

Big nope.

Rangers retiring Hadfield's No. 11----just because of that this calls for our best effort. It seems like we usually lose these games though and our play lately kind of points to us getting our asses handed to us. So we'll see.

I mean, at this point, now that the majority of us realize that the little win streak was nothing more than smoke and mirrors, shouldn't we be fine with losses?

We still have a really good chance at picking in the top 5.

I think these few injuries to Zucc, Names and Buch have just shown this team for what it would have been come the trade deadline anyways.

So are we back to being annoyed at the inconsistent play of Kreider and Hayes?
IDK I think the Staal, McLeod, ADA, and Chytil topics have a lot more life in them. At least 15, 16 thousand posts worth before the end of the year.

.

Forsberg played a very entertaining type of hockey and is top 10 PPG all time in both the regular season and playoffs. Not that strange imo.
