The New York Ranger depression train runs on the volatile anger/weeping misery of 19 years since the engine last ran well. Conductor Dolan runs the trains operations and is an inspiration everywhere as he does so while blindfolded and facing the wrong direction. Behind him is Glenny Slats who shovels money into said trains furnace.

Stewardess Torts oversees all patron operations and enforces a strict regimen to keep train in check, notably seating Marian Gaborik away from his favorite side and keeping Chris Kreider in the caboose.
