Makes you wonder when/if Kreider would have come up had Nash not gotten hurt. I guess he'd be back up after the Callahan injury provided the injury still occured given obviously all the games would have been completely different with Nash in the lineup.

I have to say Biron's 5 hole gave me fits, but the guy was apparently a solid dressing room guy and is an AMAZING analyst. LOVE LOVE LOVE him.

Missed the end of the first (and the PP), but it was good to see a forward (especially CK) pick his spot and hit it with his shot, excellent pass from Nash as well.

Talbot continues to surprise me with how well he plays in net

So many more shots seem to go wide against Talbot than against Lundqvist and I wonder if that's because of the different angles he plays.

Or defend better, for that matter. Talbot's rebound control has been average but the Rangers have helped him out in that area.

Rebound control has always been one of Hank's weak points too.
I think Talbot does a good job of knocking the puck away, whereas Lundqvist often has it drop right in front of goal. While giving him the chance to cover it, also leaves it for the other team right there.

I honestly think we play tighter D in front of the back-up. I know these are pros, and they're not going to consciously slack off in front of Lundqvist, but with how many times he's bailed them out, you have to imagine they can get a little complacent.

When in front of a lesser 'tender, they might actively try to step it up a bit.

Really? I see him directing pucks into corners on most of these long shots that Lundqvist seems to just put in the slot at times.
