Kinkaid made two huge breakaway saves late in the third to bring us to OT. I can't beat up on him too much. That goal was truly a disaster by him, but he made some really big saves for us too.

Like Tarmo's three shifts tn.

Also, not to be that guy, but wtf was that double minor called after played stopped for no reason? Meanwhile wasn't there a clear delay of game penalty that didn't get thrown to the replay refs?

This was a game where Lafereniere had a legitimate claim to setting up a couple of chances that OF COURSE didn't go in.

Kakko doesn't really do that.

He's good, but unless we see leaps and bounds improvement in his offense, he looks like he's going to be an "elite" complimentary player in the Dubinsky/Callahan/Hagelin/Fast ilk.

Kakko did spring Gauthier on a breakaway with that alley-oop pass.

Fair enough. Those two penalties were garbage and obviously cost us.
Simply put we have a guy that blazes down the wing with speed and size and creates a goal but takes two dumb penalties.
Also we currently have two stud prospects who have been neutered and have been producing zilch except fancy stats.

Kakko and Lafreniere have been handed everything. Look at Chytil, you can put him with anyone and he’ll make an impact. And he had to work for it.

What special treatment did Hayes get? He scored 45 f***ing points as a rookie getting less ice-time than Dominic Moore. Didn’t even see PP time until like March.

Youre really comparing a 4 year college rookie to 18 and 19 year olds. I hate bringing him up but look at Timmy Stuz and almost every other teams young forwards. Why are we the only one whose forwards consistently struggle

Shaking things up is not the way to go right now. We clearly won't make the playoffs. Rangers should evaluate and be sellers at the deadline. Trades should only be made with the future in mind.

I rather see how this team does with another coach first before we do a real shake up trade.

Top 5 worst game of the season for me.

The combo of our young guys sucking, the refs making horrible calls, our players missing glorious opportunities and Joel Farabee lighting us up is too much.

I really can’t stomach the team this season. Probably going to start being an every other guy for the rest of this disaster.

top 1 worst game of the season. Maybe top 2, with the opening day beating to the Islanders as the worst, since it kicked off this whole shitfest.

I am shocked he put Laf out there.
Besides Panarin no one wanted to take a chance you could see how scared they were to make a mistake EVEN with the Flyers three gasping for air.

Eichel has the same number of goals as Kakko this year and two less than Laf

And Nathan Mckinnon has three 5 v 5 goals this year. Strange year for all. Watching Kakko you see alot of good. Let him marinate; Has he played even 100 games as a newly minted 20 year old?

Voracek shouldn’t even be playing after his penalty then he scores the winner. The refs should be the first star for the flyers. Give them the Gritty handy or whatever their star of the game gets.

Yup, there are certainly legitmate gripes with them and with their usage, but they could both EASILY have 5-10 more points than they do.

1 point means absolutely nothing for this team. We're not making the playoffs. That's not the result we are evaluating at all. How the kids played is the only thing that matters. We're not trying to win the cup Glen.

Kakko and Laf's biggest issue in my mind right now is that they are too slow for today's NHL. They need to get a helluva lot faster. They have the skills, but if every time they have the puck, they get rubbed off immediately because they aren't fast skaters, there's nothing they can do with it.

All he did was play on the same line every game all season in the same role with some guy name Martin on his RW...
