It was a bad penalty but it wasn't a stupid penalty, it was an accidental play. I'll take the goal with the hope those mistakes can be limited.

Kakko and Lafreniere have been handed everything. Look at Chytil, you can put him with anyone and he’ll make an impact. And he had to work for it.

What special treatment did Hayes get? He scored 45 f***ing points as a rookie getting less ice-time than Dominic Moore. Didn’t even see PP time until like March.

The combo of our young guys sucking, the refs making horrible calls, our players missing glorious opportunities and Joel Farabee lighting us up is too much.

I really can’t stomach the team this season. Probably going to start being an every other guy for the rest of this disaster.

This was a game where Lafereniere had a legitimate claim to setting up a couple of chances that OF COURSE didn't go in.

Kakko doesn't really do that.

He's good, but unless we see leaps and bounds improvement in his offense, he looks like he's going to be an "elite" complimentary player in the Dubinsky/Callahan/Hagelin/Fast ilk.

And then Gauthier sat the rest of the game. The penalties hurt but the kid was making a difference and he sits for the duration. Brilliant coaching. Now Gauthier will never high stick someone again??
