Once or twice? You'd have a point. If there's a deflection goal, 9 times out of 10, Girardi is responsible.

I'd give you this if he was deflecting them in with his stick or skate trying to stop the shot or redirect it, he's not it's going off his body. Not only that but it's usually hitting him after it's been deflected once.

It seems as though he's always clueless as to where the puck is until it's off of him and into the net, and that's my issue.

That play isn't the main reason why Girardi has pissed me off today, though, he's just had a poor game all-around.

Don't bother. There's more blaming of Girardi for it going off of him in the second piece of a double deflection than there was for Staal completely leaving a man open that led to a goal. People just want to scapegoat.
