I don't see many solutions besides switching Kakko with Strome, but then we have our #2 scorer on the 3rd line.

We might just have to accept a **** 3rd line this year lol.

I guess they could have Chytil center the 3rd line and put Howden on the 4th line.
Chytil centering Kakko makes sense. Give Kakko a legitimate center and gives us 3 working lines. If Panarin is just going to drag Strome around the ice anyway, might as well let him while having another line potentially be productive.

Putting Chytil on the 3rd line when he’s been such a beast just kind of doesn’t sit well with me.

Chytil wasn't playing well, so Quinn sent him to the minors in order to stunt his growth and ruin him.

Since he's been back, he's played consistent strong hockey, so it might be time to ruin Kakko

Those crapping on Buch, (in pgt) he has 19 in 24 games. Still making bonehead plays from time to time, reminding me of how its all about the "expectations" of a player. I think most that crap on him, are only doing such because at this point in his career, we all may feel he should be "fine tuning" his game. At least its not because of lack of effort. He is a hard back checker, makes tons of sometimes unnoticed good plays, and has been quite the playmaker. I am not giving up on him.

Tough game to lose yesterday. Those that didnt see that coming, are blind, you cannot, i repeat cannot NOT score 5 on 3, go 4 consec without a goal and expect to win. Doesnt work that way.

You can't beat MO, if you dont have it.
Have to somehow get it, and keep it.
Don't hand it away, by failed PP's. Sometimes fights.

When Smith kicked McAvoy's ass, I still thought that would somehow favor Boston, it did. Maybe Smith should have declined even though it was quite the head hunting cheap shot against him. Waiting until later on, when game was in hand.

Think that might be the best thing they could do to stretch the line up. Even though Filip deserves the echelon of 2nd line, by putting him on 3rd, could be good with Lemmy and Kaapo.
While moving Howden to the 4th.
I like Howdy Doodie, but dont LOVE him. He is too quiet. A few games recently he seemed more physically involved, but not enough to his game. Defensively responsible? Even if he is, is that enough?

Maybe so, but can beast up on 3rd line match ups, and bring "up" his line mates. Kaapo has to be getting frustrated, I feel frustration is coming out of his helmet. Kid wants and is used to being a monster, and it just isnt happening. Maybe he can gel with Filip. They both have talent up the ying yang.

NHL scheduling never ceases to amaze.
The Rangers should never complain about scheduling, and pretty sure they don't. (Except crazy days off early) It's the fan base complaining if it doesnt line up with their work schedule. Hey btw, there are dvr's now. You know, recording availability?

They already have the easiest travel (miles), so what is the issue with 2 afternoon games in which they go from Boston to NJ. then have the afternoon to themselves, Sunday and then play at home vs Vegas. That is difficult? Yeah, horrible scheduling. Talk to a Western teams fans. Their afternoon east coast games are 10 a.m.

Personally, I like day games, but seems they rarely win, today will be a different story. I would bet my house. Ha!

Howden is fine at 3c, Kakko needs to pick it up, if he wasnt our 1st round pick this year he would be in Hartford. Not sure what happened to him after he got sick, maybe it was an injury, but he is fighting the puck big time. Before he went out that line was playing well.

This game is the final leg of what has been the most poorly constructed schedule in league history. Really want 2 points here.

Some people can't keep their emotions in check in the heat of moment, but overall Buchnevich received a lot of praise on this board this season.

Expect big time games from Tom Chorske, Jim Dowd, and Jamie Langenbrunner.

Kakko hasn't been good since he returned I agree, but he should be on the #1 pp, he is still the best option there on the right side.

This is a big one for Georgiev. As for the team, it also feels like a big swing game. Get the W today and coming back home against Vegas sets us up to really raise an eye brow within the division.

Was just looking to see how Lias was doing in the AHL. He had one assist for us in 17 games? That’s it?! No goals and one assist? He’s a forward and on pace for less than 5 points. I don’t care if he’s on the fourth line. That’s just awful.

7th overall pick....

if you want to see how he is doing in the AHL then you should probably look at his AHL stats, not his NHL stats. He has 2 goals in 3 games in hartford
