Yep. I was just about to say run all three in a balanced manner. When one collapses give the other a chance, etc.

I’ve actually become a big believer in three goalies unless a team has a sure #1 (Shesterkin or CH for-example)

Lyon will want a multi year contract , I have np bringing him back but talbot will have to be dealt. No ones asking cossa to be the #1 guy but hes gonna be 23 and it's time to see what he can do

He can be a 30-40 game goalie tandem. Lyon/Talbot wont want to be a 3rd string goalie. Maybe we can ask Campbell to comeback as #3 or someone similar

This will not go good and everyone will hate me, but i think Ristolainen would be a great pickup on the trade deadline for Wings. Seider, Edvinsson, Ristolainen on the dpairings, big mean dudes on all 3 pairs.

I think it would be a great addition.

Kasper ain't leaving that top line anytime soon. Gotta find a suitable 2c for next season ... if the canucks hold on to pettersson I think if kane returns for another season debrincat cozens kane would look good

Carson Soucy is supposedly available and might not be a bad option for the 3rd pair. He is having a down year but a lot of Canucks fans seem to think he's still a solid dman.

Ya he was good a few years ago , still young and big. Maybe can do with a change of scenery like oleksiak who I'd also be down for

If we can move a holl/gustaffson for him I wouldn't hesitate. He has 1 year left so wed have to get rid of someone

Still prefer oleksiak atm but I'd take soucy

Johansson has been playing really good with edvinsson so I think wed be able to run that pair for 1 year and be ok if pellikka makes the roster

The Penguins just got Vincent Desharnais in the M. Pettersson deal. He played 3rd pair for the Oilers last year, 6'7 righty defensive defensemen. Making 2mill this year and next. I wouldn't give up alot for the guy but hes gotta be better than Holl. Maybe a Holl+5th for Desharnais.

I'm gonna say it: don't make any moves. Make the playoffs, see how it goes, evaluate from there. Bring 2 more forwards up from GR in the off-season (and a certain goalie), sign a UFA 3rd pairing defenseman, and you're in business.

It'll be cool to make the playoffs, but this is just a mid-way point. There's still a lot of rebuilding to do. No sense in making a big move just yet.

Luke Schenn is 35 and barely playing 15 min a night.

Faulk or Fowler would both be good gets imo. Not long term contracts and with cap going up both are decent cap hits (especially Fowler with some already retained).

I'm not sure the blues are interested in trading Fowler. This article ( With Nick Leddy back, will Blues move any veteran defensemen before NHL trade deadline? ) lists Leddy, Faulk and Krug as potential trades. The blues writer lists them all as "hard to move" so not sure we should have a lot of interest in Faulk. In fact the writer suggest he (faulk) is a borderline negative value asset.

We should have been in on Fowler in the first place. Blues gave up a future 2nd and a 22 year old ECHL/AHL tweener. Big time missed opportunity there.
