I think here it worked because Sid, Phil, and Geno all mutually yelled at each other lol. It was very give-and-take. If Malkin yelled at Phil for f***ing up on the powerplay then Phil would just yell right back. You'd think Tocchet would be able to provide enough separation to where they can all do their own thing. Each have a top 6 line, each have a PP unit.

I watched him in St Louis last year on a business trip. He was having a much better season than this year, and he looked awful.
It was also said that Kunitz, Bonino, and Cullen were guys that were willing to speak up and out to anyone about things like effort. There were a lot of voices on those 16 and 17 cup winning teams.
