I agree that Ponomarev looks like a Blueger caliber fringe 3C/4C, I think that's a pretty appropriate comparison for him. He'll be much more of a good 4C but I'm skeptical his upside is higher than that.

I also don't know why the Penguins would target Hoglander and what he'd offer for them at this point. He has effectively the same statline as Acciari this year and a coach very similar to Sullivan hates his game. You're giving Vancouver a "get out of jail free" card by acquiring him, especially if he's a piece in a Pettersson trade.

Yeah I don't understand that comment from Jesse either. When Larsson was Murashov's age, he hadn't even turned pro yet. Murashov having rebound control issues at age 20 with his play style isn't surprising.

Go back and re-watch a 20 year old Fleury and compare that to a 26 year old Fleury when it comes to things like structure and rebound control. That's the same age difference between Murashov and Larsson today.

Both Larsson 195 lbs. and Murashov 172 lbs. are 6'2" while Blomqvist is 6'3" 200 lbs.

With Murashov, Ive noticed he has been pushing everything towards the corners, even weak dump ins. Its definitely something he is working on.

If we’re trying to get younger players from Buffalo, it should be Peterka or Benson or one of their young defenders…someone with actual skill lol…Rosen won’t amount to anything…none of this lower value prospects…go bold…Peterka for Rakell and Bunting, or ask Rust to waive his NMC or you’ll trade his ass to Winnipeg in the summer lol

If you can convince Buffalo to give us Benson in a trade sure. I just don't know if we have that.
