they needed to do this at some point to send them back to Providence. Providence needs a first line for the postseason

Don't worry. The concubine that is Patrick Brown will probably still be around playing for us for the next 10 years.
Lysell apparently was sent down too. One on hand I'm happy he's back on a team with something to play for and the vibes are not depressing.
On the other hand, I wish he could get a longer look. But this organization is what it is.
I was not against seeing Lysell finishing the year up with the big club, but to be honest, I think opinions have been drawn.Lysell may have been on Emergency Recall? I think the Bruins have used up all of their four regular post deadline recalls?
I think the teams that got our guys might be thinking the same. You can really see why some of these teams traded the guys the Bruins got.
Dom. My man. A word of advice. This is my 20,000th post and my best post ever.
I promise to be better going forward.
If it’s good it’s Don. If it’s bad it’s Cam. I don’t make the rules hereWho decides who's up and down in Providence? Is it a collaborative decision from management or is it just Don?
Not sure what you're saying -that they should have re arraigned the deck chairs games ago?The definition of re-arranging the decks chairs
Two moves that should have been made games ago
So does Paul,Wonder how people on here have no idea what Kodachrome even is...
I'm sure Wally does
He was not team Canadas best player. Let’s not get crazy. He was good. But he wasnt even the 3rd best player.Marner is nearly a point a game player throughout his career in the playoffs and leads the leafs during that time and was arguably Team Canada best player at the 4 nations. Far stretch saying he doesn't step up when it matters most.

Can’t deny there was no one better when it mattered most and that’s the kind of player I want wearing the spoked B. Scored the game winning overtime goal vs Sweden, and sets up Bennets tieing goal and McDavid game winner in the Championship game.He was not team Canadas best player. Let’s not get crazy. He was good. But he wasnt even the 3rd best player.
Personally, I hope they leave Poitras and Minten in the AHL for the playoff run. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the team next season.Bring up Minten and Brunet

I still think they should bring up Merkulov though to see what he is at this point.
I wouldn't.They need to keep losing not have some kids show up and help them win games. They can play next seasonBring up Minten and Brunet
It wouldn't hurt. In regards to Merkulov, it does seem like they are ready to move on from him.Even if guys come up for a couple weeks, they will return to Providence for the postseason. Obviously they could get hurt in the NHL but the same can happen at the AHL level
I think they are quite comfortable in their feeling on what Merkulov is, but you could bring him up and let him play Center, it could only help the tank
If we get 1st overall I'm going Misa.
