I was listening to Marty Biron on NHL radio today and well not Buffalo but he did say he would much rather be Anaheim moving forward, than Boston. Funny how he just threw Boston out there out of the 31 teams, he could pick from.

The problem is, the things that they need to be a contender are things that aren't going to be available in the offseason.

I'm not buying it.

They have no cheap talent on the immediate horizon.

Marchand is UFA who's already on the wrong side of 35. They're now loaded with contracts for veterans that won't be easy to move.

Who knows about Swayman?

They've scratched and clawed their way to stay in contention for so long that it's actively hurt the franchise. There's little to attract free agents, and little to offer another team in a trade.

Tear it down to the studs.

I'd listen to offers on anyone.

I'm sure he's conflicted regarding loyalty/comfort vs his will to be a winner .... be good to get a decent return but honestly I just want someone to genuinely cheer for in the post season ... Greenway at 4 million makes lindholm contract feel like peanuts.

From the garbage us Bruins fans have had to put up with so far, I must say that despite all of his flaws, Mason Lohrie is an offensive machine. He has talent in abundance. I would put the “untouchables” as Pasta, McAvoy and Lohrie. I love the creativity he brings and feel he has a ton to grow still. For a defenceman - he’s in a good place. Ready to mature.

Swayman? Bruins traded Joe Thornton AFTER poor negotiations. Swayman upset management.

If Sweeney and Neely are safe - Swayman is not.

Otherwise, look out for a change at the top. The next few days should give us a better picture of where this sits. Swayman’s NMC doesn’t kick in until July I believe.

To be honest, Loheri, you must decide if he is worth waiting on to get his complete game together, I am trying to be truthful, I am nots sure, his offensive skills are enticing, so maybe a slow move from me. Poitras, I am solid get away from this kid waste of time, shows less and less every time I watch him. I know that will not be popular.

He is super young. Players take a couple years to find nhl consistency. Patients.

I moved south of Raleigh last summer and was psyched the Bruins were set to play here twice in one season. I went to that last 8-2 blowout and I refuse to pay big money to see the Bruins get run over again.

Yeah I mean he’s 28, and in a rising cap world for being top 3 in a role that’s had a mini resurgence and who’s doubled his modest offence this year works for me

Yeah, it's debatable whether he is worth $3m now (I say not), but in 6 years? With the style he plays? He'll be lucky to still be in the NHL.
