Vrana on waivers and Osterle on waivers (that one surprises me considering lack of defensive depth…)

I take Vrana. He’s been limited in ice time, but 11 points in 26 games this season? Czech connection? See how he does for a few weeks with plenty of room in the bottom 9. He’s cheap. Could be a good depth signing if he shows some promise.

100% sincere….maybe I’m all wet, but if the return Seattle got for Gourde was sent here for Coyle and Carlo, I’d have been very happy.
Sweeney has a reputation around the NHL if you ask me of paying more & taking less.It absolutely disgusts me watching other teams always getting the bag while the Bruins get cents on the dollar.

Swing on high-upside players like Vrana.

Bruins are in a position where they have to turn nothing-assets into gold.

How long does a player get considered a high upside player when they never deliver on said upside. He has scored 33 goals the last 4 years (this year included) I wouldn't be angry if they picked hi up on waivers, but honestly I would be angry if he was signed for more than 1 year one million in the offseason

Rather give him the million though then Walstrom or Johnson.

He might very well injure himself signing the contract.

What do you like about his game?
He looked terrible last night.
He had an opportunity to show something and did nothing. I don't think he even took the body once all game.
I counted at least 5 times he got easily knocked off the puck and fell down.
I desperately want this kid to get his shot. But he was playing good minutes with players that were noticeably more involved than him. I think he is highly concerned with being responsible but at the end of the day he seems like a young man not ready to play his game at the nhl level. Send him down with things to work on and bring up the next guy. I’d love to see Lysell get a similar short look. Maybe he’s able to play faster and get more involved particularly in the offensive zone.

Here we go….🤣
Greenway's relatively younger by about 2 years, really big, scored 10 goals twice, came 75% close to playing a full season twice.....what's not to like for the price tag? :) .... he got an extra $2.5M per year for agreeing to sign with with Buffalo

Yeah all I'm saying is play him for the rest of the season instead of Patrick Brown or Litteri. Who knows there could be something with Pasta/Zacha

Per Kyprios: Marchand and Crosby to Colorado Avs is already agreed to. Just waiting on Marchand and Crosby to approve

Tell me about it, the guy sucks and they'll likely trade a blue chip D or Couzins prior to trade deadline to push back the 15 year rebuild even furth..... but want Greenway at $M as a warm body who never plays a full season or fills the net...what a horribly run team ... some think we have it bad in Boston.....

Guys and gals the more I think about our current state of the Bruins organization the more I feel for most of us 2011 was our last chance to see a cup . It took over 40 years in between the last win and now it's been 14 years since. 2019 was our golden ticket to get one more because of the easy trail it was to get to final when heavyweight Tampa got knocked out by Columbus. Blowing game 7 at home makes it more depressing the more I think about our current state. I'm a optimist always but also a realist. It's kinda interesting to tank and hope were gonna nab the next Bergeron and next krejci and bingo were back but to get legends like that is pure lottery luck. Possible but not probable. I will cheer on my team no matter what and I love going back and forth with you all wonderful people each day but winning a cup is no small task and at the moment I'm looking at my picture with tyler seguin with cup and my son right beside him and how lucky I was to have this picture in my house. Ask leaf fans buffalo or even Vancouver fans what it means to be in a serious drought. Let's hope we nab one more before the lights turn out and we all celebrate together at the parade with me holding a bag of jalapeno doritos cheering. Let's go with the tankathon and get a serious piece to get that elusive silvery mug.😃
Okay Don, NOW I really want to see that picture. I want to see what the legend "The Don Godfather" looks like.

I'm more optimistic than most, it seems. I often find myself defending guys like Coyle, Zadorov and even Sweeney, who I do think has reached the end of his shelf-life --- which happens to us all.

I also think they can turn this thing around quicker than most seem to think.

I just want to see them deviate from their norm a bit and take some chances.

Different time, different regime, but I always chuckle when I think about them getting Robert Lang off waiversT in 97 --- giving him 3 games to prove he was a combination Selke Candidate and Rocket Richard candidate rolled into one guy, then waiving him again and watching him turn into a legit top 6 guy for the next decade.

Cherry picking one guy? ---- Sure.

But to me the attitude/expectation is the same.
That was a massively aggravating, depressing time to be a Bruins fan. But the last 15-17 years have been remarkable fun. It's time for a retool, rebuild whatever you want to call it, it is time. We all love Brad but if he can compete for a Cup and we could get a first round pick and a top prospect (I may be dreaming) it could go a long way to getting Pasta a Cup in the next several years. The 2011 team that pretty much played in the 2013 and 2019 finals and the 2023 team should've gotten us at least one more, but sadly they fell short. This group is doing an injustice to the Spoked B, hence I only want to see a half dozen return next year.
It's time for a new core. Let's hope Sweeneely are up to the task.

I’m selling coyle after looking at the Bjorkstrand trade. With Zacha, Lindholm, Poitras, and hopefully Geekie, you have center covered enough until you develop one or acquire one that is a bonafide stallion. Coyle will get you a haul that helps with the interim, and his salary will be incredibly useful during FA.

Keep Carlo unless you can go for a really big fish while the market is hot, otherwise next trade deadline if he’s not vital to the season ahead.

For all that want a "REBUILD " if you missed last night's game watch the rerun, because with a rebuild that is the type of games you will be watching for the next 5- 6 years if not longer ........I ask are you interested, I am not.
Nobody chooses that type of game. Sweeney didn't put this team together to suck on purpose. Follow the Washington model and rebuild. A year or two of shrewd careful moves and NOT signing any over the hill glue and they'll be fine. I expect though that for a couple years there will be some games like last night's whether we like it or not.
